If you use a filter for purifying water, be sure to have plenty of them.įirewood – Many preppers are planning on heating their homes and cook with a wood fire in a post-disaster world but few have enough firewood to do that. Water Filters – Water purification is essential to survival, as water that has microscopic pathogens can spread disease and even kill us. Make sure you have a good stock, as this is essential with damp wood.
